N.B.

N.B. is the second album by pop singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield. It was released by RCA Label Group (UK) under the Phonogenic Label on April 30, 2007 in the United Kingdom. The album was not released in the U.S. or Canada, and a new album entitled Pocketful of Sunshine (which features six of the tracks from N.B. along with mostly new material) was released on January 22, 2008.

The album featured collaborations with American rapper Eve and Maroon 5's lead singer Adam Levine, and was influenced by hip hop music.[1] Most of the songs focus on love and relationships, as opposed to her debut, which dealt with independence and opportunism.

N.B. debuted to mixed reviews from contemporary music critics, receiving criticism due to its redundant lyrical content. The album produced two top ten singles in the UK. Because of N.B.'s mediocre success, it has been noted as a "sophomore slump".

1."I Wanna Have Your Babies" (also known as "Babies") is a pop song written by Natasha Bedingfield, Steve Kipner, Andrew Frampton and Wayne Wilkins for Bedingfield's second album, N.B. (2007). The song's musical-style and production was inspired by hip hop music,[1] and its lyrics discuss a woman's battle to stop herself from rushing into relationships in an effort to find the right man to be the father of her children.

The song was released as the album's first single in the second quarter of 2007. The track received mixed reviews from pop music critics, who generally found it to be less impressive than past singles. It entered the top forty in Germany, Ireland and The Netherlands, and became Bedingfield's fourth United Kingdom top ten single release.

2.
"Soulmate" is a pop song written and produced by Natasha Bedingfield, Mads Hauge and David Tench for Bedingfield's second album, N.B. (2007). The song is written in the key of E-flat Minor and set in 4/4 time. Bedingfield's vocals range from F#3 to B4. The lyrics discuss if there is a soulmate for everyone and if Bedingfield will ever find the right partner.[1] The song was released as the album's second single in July 2007. It was a commercial success, and the most successful single from N.B, reaching number seven in the United Kingdom and the top forty in the majority of the charts it entered. "Soulmate" is the fourth single released for the US album, Pocketful of Sunshine.

The song gained much popularity in the U.S after it was played in an episode of the highly rated MTV program The Hills. Strangely, promotion for the single started months after its release, in April 2009. She performed it on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, April 15[2] and Dancing With The Stars on April 21.
